GROUP FITNESS CLASS DESCRIPTIONS:

  • BODYPUMP – BODYPUMP™ is one of the world’s fastest ways to get in shape as it challenges all of your major muscle groups while you squat, press, lift & curl. BODYPUMP uses “The Rep Effect,” a breakthrough in resistance workout training. Focusing on low weight loads and high repetition movements, you’ll burn fat, gain strength and quickly produce lean muscle conditioning.

  • BODYCOMBAT – BODYCOMBAT™ is the empowering cardio workout where you are totally unleashed. This fiercely energetic program is inspired by martial arts and draws from a wide range of disciplines such as karate, boxing, taekwondo, tai chi and muaythai. Supported by driving music and powerful role model instructors, you strike, punch, kick and kata your way through calories to superior cardio fitness.

  • BODYATTACK – BODYATTACK™ is a high-energy fitness class with moves that cater for total beginners to total addicts. We combine athletic movements like running, lunging and jumping with strength exercises such as push-ups and squats. A LES MILLS™ instructor will pump out energizing tunes and lead you through the workout – challenging your limits in a good way, burning up to 730 calories and leaving you with a sense of achievement.

  • TONE – If you want the optimal mix of strength, cardio and core training this is it. Step into a BODYVIVE 3.1 class and you’ll tick off a complete workout. The challenging mix of lunges, squats, running and tubing exercises will help you burn calories and take your fitness to the next level. You’ll leave fizzing with energy and on track for all-around healthy living.

  • YOGA - An athletic blend of yoga, incorporating stretching, mobility and rejuvenation. Perfect for all fitness levels, this Vinyasa flow class is designed for athletic performance and mobility.

TRAINING SESSION DESCRIPTIONS (included with Training membership, additional fee with Group Fitness membership):

  • GRIT™ Series: GRIT Strength is a 30-minute, high-intensity interval training workout designed to improve strength and build endurance. GRIT Cardio is a 30-minute, high-intensity interval training workout that improves cardiovascular fitness, increases speed and maximizes calorie burn. GRIT Plyo is a 30-minute, high-intensity interval training, plyometric-based workout, designed to make you perform like an athlete. 

  • RPM (cycling)RPM is a cycling workout that delivers maximum results with minimum impact on your joints. Tune in to some great music and get your pedals spinning as your instructor takes you on a journey of hill climbs, sprints and flat riding. You control your own resistance levels and speed so you can build up your fitness level over time. If you want a true sense of achievement, get into a RPM class today.
