Do you offer classes for beginners?

Every class that KAHA FITNESS offers will include options for all fitness levels. Instructors will show modifiers so that whether you’re just beginning your fitness journey or you’ve been rockin’ it for years, you’ll have options that will work for you! Also, watch for special “form & technique” classes so that you can learn proper form for your favorite classes!

How do I sign up for my first class?

If you’re attending your first class with us, no need to sign up ahead of time. Simply show up approximately 10-15 minutes ahead of the class start time. We’ll show you around, have you fill out a waiver and answer any questions you have.

I’m new to this whole group fitness thing. Where do I start?

We understand that trying anything for the first time can be intimidating, so we’ve set a goal at KAHA to make every guest feel welcome and comfortable. For your first visit, we’ll show you around and get you set up for class. Our instructor team and members are always welcoming. In fact, one of the best compliments we continue to receive is about the “judgement-free” environment that you’ll find at KAHA. And yes, you can absolutely stand in the back row, back corner if that’s where you feel most comfortable. We completely understand.

What is the SmartStart™ program?

The first step into fitness isn’t a leap. The key is to start slow, keep it fresh but most importantly, have fun and the results should follow! SmartStart™ is a scientifically-researched plan that helps you begin your fitness journey in a manageable and realistic way. Let us help you create your SmartStart™ plan!

Can I bring a guest?

Absolutely – we love guests! If your guest a potential member, he/she is welcome to try their first class for free. Please note that the free first class is available for potential members only. We want new customers to try us out, and we hope to impress you so that you come back and achieve your fitness goals with us! 

What should I wear?

Generally, a good option to start with is just some comfortable clothes that you can move in (t-shirt and shorts). In regards to shoes, cross trainers are recommended for most classes. In mat classes like BODYFLOW, we recommend going barefoot or wearing non-slip socks.

Do I need to bring anything to class?

KAHA FITNESS supplies all the equipment you need for class and we offer cubbies to store your belongings. The only things we recommend that you bring are water (also available for purchase at the front desk) and a sweat towel.

Does KAHA have an age requirement?

The minimum age to attend a group fitness class at KAHA FITNESS is 13. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.

What is Les Mills™?

Les Mills™ is the world-wide leader in group fitness and KAHA FITNESS is proud to offer a full line of Les Mills programming. The New Zealand-based company inspires millions of people around the world to get moving and fall in love with fitness by mixing great music and cutting-edge scientific research for maximum results, no matter what your fitness level is.

Les Mills workouts are licensed by 17,500 partners in 100 countries around the world. Licensed facilities like KAHA FITNESS receive research, marketing and new workouts every three months (called “Launch” – see below for info). The “tribe” of 130,000 certified Les Mills instructors bring those workouts to life every day around the world.

What is “Launch?”

Every three months, Les Mills releases a new round of music and choreography. We’ll celebrate those releases with a fun event called a Launch, which will include prizes, themes, lots of fun and your favorite instructors teaming up to make it an exciting day! Feel free to invite friends, as Launch days are a great way to introduce new people to KAHA FITNESS!

Does KAHA FITNESS offer personal training?

Yes, we offer small group personal training, single-session personal training and multi-session packages. For rates and more info, please email Monica at KahaFit@gmail.com or call 317-578-7444.

Do you have a referral program?

Yes! We believe that referring a friend, family member or co-worker is the highest compliment you can give us and therefore, we want to reward you for it. Ask us about the current referral incentive!

Do you offer nutritional products to support my workout plan?

KAHA FITNESS offers a variety of the products your body needs to function, digest and perform well throughout the day. From Shakeology to vitamins to pre- and post-workout formulas to bottles of water, we’ve got you covered! Check out our display in the lobby and let us help you find the products to fit your lifestyle!

What if there’s severe weather?

In the event of inclement weather (let’s face it… this is Indiana), we will do our best to stay open, as long as it’s not at the risk of our members’ and instructors’ safety. In the event of a major winter advisory (snow or extreme cold), classes may be cancelled if we determine that it is dangerous for our members and instructors to travel. If classes are cancelled, we will update the MINDBODY app, then use our social media channels and VIP text alerts to inform you of updates. Sign up for the VIP text list by texting KAHA to 31996.
